Metodistkirken i Danmark
I Danmark er Metodistkirken en af de små frikirker, men på verdensplan er den ét af de største protestantiske kirkesamfund med omkring 80 mio. medlemmer. Metodistkirken har et godt forhold til de andre kirkesamfund i Danmark, og her i København har vi et godt samarbejde både omkring den årlige kirkevandring og ved en række andre arrangementer i løbet af året. I Metodistkirken har vi barnedåb. Vi mener, at en personlig tro på Jesus Kristus har en positiv indflydelse på menneskelivet. En klar tankegang, glæde i troen og omsorg for hele mennesket, opfatter vi som væsentlige elementer i at være kristen. Det kommer blandt andet til udtryk i et rigt gudstjeneste- og musikliv, samt et omfattende socialt arbejde
